It is prepared with a creamy short-grain rice cooked in flavorful broth and combined with garlic, lemon zest, and shrimp. The result is a flavorful and aromatic dish that will appeal even to the most discerning palates.
Risotto is a versatile dish that can be adapted to suit all tastes. It can be prepared with different types of seafood, herbs and spices, and even different types of rice. Regardless of the ingredients chosen, the outcome will be a delicious and satisfying meal.

Tips for Lemon and Shrimp Risotto

During cooking, it’s important to stir the risotto often to prevent it from sticking to the bottom of the pan. Also, avoid overcooking the shrimp, as they could become tough and rubbery.
The risotto should be cooked until creamy and slightly al dente. If it’s too dry, a splash of white wine or additional broth can be added.

Pairing Tips for Lemon and Shrimp Risotto

This dish pairs well with various wines. A light, crisp white like Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio will complement the flavors. For red wine lovers, a light-bodied Pinot Noir works well.
You can also pair this risotto with a bright, acidic salad, such as spinach and strawberry salad. The sweetness of strawberries balances the lemon’s acidity and the creaminess of the rice.
