At the end of August comes the Romagna and Abruzzo festival

The Casa Mita Social Center in Faenza organizes on August 27, 28, 29 the 8th edition of the Festival of Romagna and Abruzzo at Parco Mita.The meeting of two different cultures: the Abruzzese and the Romagnolo have come together to create a truly original food and wine event both in culinary content and organization: starting from the Gastronomic Stand With Specialties Of Romagna and Abruzzese Cuisine, with many culinary specialties including: Hand-rolled Pasta made by our ‘Arzdore’, prepared according to ancient recipes, the Festival’s Specialty: Abruzzese Arrosticini grilled over embers. Vegan dish. And to continue, products like cheeses and cold cuts and Typical Wines from the two Regions. Well-stocked Bar and stand selling characteristic Abruzzese gastronomic products.

Entertainment with live musical performances. Animation and giant inflatables for children. Entertainment for families and youth. Concerts. Hobbyists and Artisans markets. And also ‘the street of Arts’: exhibition by painters, watercolorists, sculptors, mosaic artists, ceramists. The Festival takes place in the beautiful setting of the green and welcoming Parco Mita, surrounded by greenery and you can dine outdoors…..under the Stars.

Friday, August 2718:00 OPENING OF THE GASTRONOMIC STAND

20:00 Extraordinary performance by CLUB ATLETICO FAENZA – gymnastics section: numerous athletes will alternate in demonstrations of women’s artistic gymnastics, men’s artistic gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics, aerial acrobatics, functional training. An evening full of emotions and suspense.

21:30 Special country music show with the legendary WILD ANGELS ROMAGNA, a country western dance group known throughout Italy. A leap back in time, discovering the golden age of American country music with horses, dances, and gunmen. A true western-style party designed to bring the Old West directly to our Festival. Fun guaranteed for young and old.

Saturday, August 2818:30 Animation and entertainment for the little ones with the free show:
THE MAGICAL WORLD OF PUPPETS OF <>. Colorful and friendly puppets will bring the theater alive with their wonderful tales, amusing and making both children and adults laugh.
19:00 Opening of the gastronomic stand
21:00 Fun guaranteed with the theatrical company ‘AMICI DELL’EUROPA’ presenting a bright and funny comedy that will entertain the entire audience titled Office Madness…..

Sunday, August 29*
From 7 PM onwards….. Grand finale of the Romagna and Abruzzo Festival, a fantastic evening dedicated to FRIED PIZZA with the last evening ‘…FRIED PIZZA…UNDER THE STARS…’, the gastronomic stand will be open to serve fried pizza all evening according to the ancient traditional Romagnola recipe, with the possibility to taste plain or stuffed fried pizza. Also available tasty stuffed piadinas. Bar corner with coffee, liqueurs, ice cream.
(*the classic festival menu will not be available)
21:00 Musical entertainment with piano bar by the Abruzzese musician, adopted Romagnolo, Sabatino Stella. Smooth dance, songs of today and yesterday for an evening of fun, music, and friendliness to close in style the final evening of the Festival.
