Citres is extremely proud to present itself at the International Food Exhibition right in this its twentieth edition which will be an important driver for export and domestic consumption. In the last two years, the canned food company from Verona has proven to be a growing reality boasting a productivity increase that has continued since 2014. With a +14% annual trend, Citres is today the absolute leader in the North East also thanks to its flagship products including Giardiniere, Sun-Dried Tomatoes, the MINI line and the Cream line. A resounding success and Cibus 2021 becomes the ideal showcase to open up to new markets and increase its awareness.
As an old tradition dictates, one cannot debut without wearing their best outfit and Citres will present itself at Cibus 2021 with a beautiful new look.
The canned food company, founded in 1958 in the province of Verona, is renewing itself with an appealing graphic restyling reinforcing the brand identity, choosing the city of Parma, UNESCO Capital of Gastronomy 2021, as the unique and exclusive location to exhibit its new labels.
The packaging becomes more photogenic, the font more elegant, the link between Citres and its territory, the Italian and above all Veronese origin of a reality proud to represent Made in Italy in the world is emphasized. The new minimalist style, besides always being environmentally friendly, is more recognizable on the shelf, allows, thanks to its transparency, to distinguish the product in a few moments and to make its quality perceived in all its simple naturalness.
The jewel in Citres’ crown is indeed the fresh production obtained by using vegetables processed immediately after harvesting, a process that allows maintaining unchanged taste and nutritional values to always offer the best to the consumer.
Care for raw materials meets wellness in the line made with iodized salt while the “Appetizers” and creams are perfect for any recipe or to be enjoyed alone on tasty bruschettas. And when they are finished?
Fully recyclable caps and labels and reusable jars are only a small part of the actions Citres has taken to become more sustainable. From the production line to plants running exclusively on solar energy, the company has implemented a thorough series of strategies aimed at maintaining high production capacity with low environmental impact.
Attentive to the consumer, attentive to the environment, attentive to the workers.
2021 saw Citres engaged in a strategic growth and development project focused on enhancing human resources. A path that confirms the company’s attention not only to product care but also to the people who make up the organization, considered an invaluable resource.
