The Gutturnio, with a bright ruby red color, of various intensities, is an intriguing wine on the nose with its notes of crunchy red fruits accompanied by fragrant hints of lilac and currant. On the palate it is fresh, effervescent and enveloping, leading to a finish full of fresh fruit. These characteristics make it ideal with tasty first courses and flavorful white meats, but it is also excellent with hamburgers and grilled meat.

Agricultural Company “Il Poggiarello”

The Agricultural Company “Il Poggiarello” was created by the Ferrari and Perini families in 1980 with the aim of engaging in quality winemaking.

The research starts from the need to find a place capable of combining natural beauty with a quality winemaking vocation in the Piacenza hills: their choice leads them to Val Trebbia, an enchanted place in the most suggestive valleys of the Emilia Apennines.

Aware that good wine is “made in the vineyard,” this is precisely where most of the work is focused. Twenty hectares of eco-sustainable land, training systems, soil management, vegetative containment, grape thinning, and strictly manual harvesting characterize Il Poggiarello and guarantee a production of assured quality. The spirit of F&P Wine Group with Il Poggiarello is to provide each bottle with an individual story and care that starts from selecting grape varieties best suited to the soil, climate, and enological needs and ends with cutting-edge production processes while respecting the Piacenza winemaking tradition.

The brand is currently present in a qualified way both in the national and foreign markets. The main sales channel in Italy is HO.RE.CA.
