The scenario of tourist flows confirms positive signals for Italy:in the first eleven months of 2018, with 208.5 million overnight stays by foreigners in accommodation facilities (+1.8%), the Belpaese ranked second in Europe, ahead of France (134.7 million nights, +5.7%) and behind Spain (287.8 million, -1.6%). In this context, the three events, with an unmatched offer for the trade fair sector, will promptly respond to the needs of the tourism business.
TTG Travel Experience
The 56th edition of TTG, is the national and international benchmark for Italian tourism supply and outbound travel. The most important B2B tourism event in Italy and the most attended by tourism professionals will host 130 destinations, along a route divided into three areas – The World, Global Village, Italy – designed to showcase all the latest developments in vacation products.
TTG Travel Experience 2019, with two special projects, will capture the trends that are increasingly influencing destination choices: the interest in food and wine and in active holidays.
Foreign visitors spent 223 million euros in 2017 on the Bel Paese’s food and wine, a 70% increase compared to 2013. At TTG Travel Experience 2019, with the “},{Eatxperience project, an entire hall will be dedicated to food and wine tourism with a model specifically designed for operators: hotel dining is also among the opportunities to be included in travel proposals.
The special project Be Active will instead showcase, with great visual impact, proposals, opportunities and trends in Italian holidays, where in 2016, 18.6% of tourists cited sports as the main motivation for their vacation.
SIA Hospitality Design
National benchmark event for the hospitality sector, SIA Hospitality Design, at the68th edition, strengthens its identity linked to design and Made in Italy, addressing three themes of particular relevance for the hospitality sector: Design (hospitality design will not only be the first focus of SIA but also the common thread of the entire event); Water: (bathroom, wellness, pools, but also services, technologies, products, cosmetics, and treatments for wellbeing); Taste (the most important moments of food service for hospitality facilities: breakfast and aperitif). Each project will have a dedicated arena involving professionals, an exhibition, and display areas.
SUN Beach&Outdoor Style
For decades the reference B2B fair for the outdoor world, beach resorts, and campsites, SUN Beach&Outdoor Style, at its 37th edition, focuses on two macro sectors: the beach world and the camping & village show.
Confirmed are the contests, in collaboration with Mondo Balneare,Best Beach Bar, Best Design Beach and Best Italian Beach, to award respectively the best beaches from the perspective of food & beverage, architecture, and tradition. All the novelties on the startup front will find their place in SUNNext, the space dedicated to innovation, in collaboration with Mondo Balneare and with CNA Emila-Romagna.
