The Piadina Experience of San Giovanni in Marignano (RN) is born from the dream of celebrating the symbol of Romagna cuisine, the “national bread of the Romagnols,” and wanting to tell its story giving it the depth it deserves. The Piadina Experience is a multimedia journey that celebrates Romagna, the territory, and the raw materials that make up the piadina.
Through an unusual path, visitors will be transported on a true Journey into the world of Piadina, from the Neolithic to the present day, discovering the oldest history up to the modern evolution, all narrated by genuine Romagnols DOC. You will dream in the Magic Room, as in a film by Maestro Fellini, where Wheat and the other elements will dance together to tell us about the alchemy renewed every time a Piadina is born. Walking along the Panoramic Tunnel, you will witness the production process. It will be interesting to follow the production phases: from dough, to resting in the Piadina Spa, to cooking at varying temperatures, discovering the secrets of technology serving tradition and quality.

There will be the possibility to add a fun activity to the Tour: “Hands in Dough.” A fun course on Piadina and Romagnol Cassoncini together with the Romagnol Azdore to the rhythm of liscio! A surprise tasting of our Piadina will arrive to tease guests during the Piadina Experience path. Educational routes for school visits can be tailored according to the age of the students or the needs of the teachers. We have chosen a new concept of Exhibition, using ultra-high definition projectors that made the impossible possible: the history of the piadina and the territory where it is born come to life involving and embracing the visitor 360°. Every surface becomes alive; walls and ceilings take on the shades of Romagna. The Piadina Experience touches the chords of memory and offers unique sensations, engaging not only sight but also hearing, smell, and touch, thanks to a sensory path that highlights the emotionality of the experience. A visit full of suggestions, to celebrate Romagna and Piadina.
