What is the difference between aloe and agave?
The aloe plant can be confused with the agave plant. The visual difference is in the flower. The aloe has more than one flower while the agave has only one flower and often dies after flowering. The inside of the agave leaves is fibrous while the inside of the aloe leaves is gelatinous.
