Prato biscuits, also known as cantucci, are delicious treats perfect to enjoy right after dinner or a meal. Paired with Vin Santo, they truly honor the Tuscan tradition.

Ingredients

  • 1 Kg. 00 flour
  • 800 gr. granulated sugar
  • 6 nr. eggs
  • 6 tuorli egg yolks
  • 600 gr. almonds
  • 100 gr. pine nuts

Instructions

  • Mix sugar with eggs.
  • Add almonds and finally the flour.
  • Form 250-gram logs.
  • Brush with beaten egg.
  • Bake at 200° for 20 minutes.
  • Slice crosswise.
