The benefits of Golden Milk mainly come from the presence of turmeric. This oriental spice contains a very powerful antioxidant: curcumin, increasingly the subject of scientific studies in recent years. It is recommended as a natural remedy for difficult digestion, liver disorders, menstrual problems, abdominal bloating, but also for common pains such as headaches or toothaches.

Especially in cases of joint or muscle pain and inflammatory conditions, it is suggested to take golden milk once a day for 40 days, preferably in the morning on an empty stomach. Thanks to the use of a juice extractor, we can greatly simplify the preparation of Golden Milk, consequently shortening the time. By working entirely raw, we preserve a greater amount of essential micronutrients for our body.

Nutritional Properties of Golden Milk

The beneficial properties of turmeric milk are a real blessing for those with joint, articulation, or back problems.

Curcumin, contained in turmeric, has anti-inflammatory power, is a powerful antioxidant that effectively fights free radicals, and is very helpful in cases of arthritis and joint pain. The liver also benefits from this substance, as it promotes proper function by lowering cholesterol and triglyceride levels in the blood. This effect is amplified thanks to the presence of “good fats” contained in almonds and hemp seed oil, which also promotes the absorption of micronutrients at the intestinal level. Finally, remember turmeric’s usefulness in easing cold symptoms.

Here’s a little tip: to enhance turmeric’s effects, add black pepper or pineapple to your golden milk. Some studies show that black pepper and bromelain (a substance found in pineapple) can maximize curcumin’s power.
