Dumplings can be prepared in various ways. In this recipe, however, we focus on speck dumplings or Tyrolean dumplings (Knödel). Alternatively, you can choose the cheese dumplings recipe.

Ingredients
- 8 pcs bread rolls soak
- 2 cups milk
- 20 g Butter
- 100 g Speck
- 1 pcs Onion
- Parsley
- Broth
- 3 pcs Eggs
- Nutmeg
- Salt
Instructions
- Soak the bread in boiling milk for 30 minutes.
- Sauté the diced speck in melted butter, add chopped onion and parsley, then remove from heat and let cool.
- Mix squeezed bread, eggs, a pinch of salt, nutmeg, and the mixture of speck, onion, and parsley.
- Form large mandarin-sized meatballs and cook them in broth for 15-20 minutes.
