But it's not just about spices. Indian cuisine is also famous for its dishes based onrice, lentils and vegetables, che rendono questa cucina adatta anche a chi segue una dieta vegetariana o vegana.

What is Masala Dosa?

The result is a tasty and substantial dish, which can be enjoyed for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

The beauty of the Masala Dosa lies in its versatility. It can be served as the main dish or as an appetizer, depending on your preferences. In addition, the potato filling can be enriched with other ingredients of your choice, such as onions, pepperoni, carrots orpeas, per renderlo ancora più gustoso e nutriente.

The origin of Masala Dosa

Today, Masala Dosa has become a symbol of Indian cuisine, representing the art of combining different flavors and textures in a single, delicious dish. With the original recipe of Masala Dosa, you can bring the flavors of India directly to your kitchen.

Ingredients for the original Indian recipe of Masala Dosa

For the Masala filling, you will need potatoes, onions, mustard seeds, seedscumin, leaves ofcurry, green chillies, ginger, salt, turmericand oil.

If you can't find some of these ingredients in the supermarket, you can look for them in a shop of Indian or online food. The flavor and consistency of the Masala Dosa depend largely on these ingredients, so it is important to use the right ones.

Preparation of the dough for dose

Then put them in two different bowls and cover them with water. Let them soak for at least 4-6 hours.

After this time, drain the water and put the rice and thelentils in un frullatore o in un mulino da cucina.

Preparation of the Masala filling

Quando iniziano a scoppiettare, aggiungete i semi di cumin, the leaves ofcurry, green chillies and theginger grattugiato.

Cooking Dosa

Tips to serve the Masala Dosa

Tips to perfect the Masala Dosa

Test the authenticity of Indian cuisine

Buon appetito!
