- 1 cup water as needed

Instructions
- Carefully cut off the stem end of the spaghetti squash. Make several small cuts along the line where you intend to cut the squash.
- Cut the squash in half along the cuts made. Remove the seeds and pulp.
- Place the squash halves in a 23x33 cm microwave-safe dish, with the cut side facing down. Pour water into the dish until it reaches at least 1.5 cm deep.
- Cook on high microwave power until the skin is soft and can be pierced with a fork, about 12-15 minutes.
- If the dish is too large to rotate, turn off the turntable and rotate the dish halfway through cooking.
