Baked carnival chiacchiere are a variation of the traditional carnival chiacchiere. Carnival chiacchiere are widespread across almost all regions of Italy and represent a dish of Italian tradition.

Ingredients
- 500 gr Type 0 flour
- 50 gr Sugar
- q.b. Powdered sugar
- 3 nr Eggs
- 1/2 cup Grappa
- Lemon flavoring or vanilla
- 1 packet Yeast
- 1 nr Eggs beaten with a little milk
- 4 gr Extra virgin olive oil or 50 g. melted butter
Instructions
- Shape a well with the flour, add the ingredients and knead like pasta.
- Roll out the dough to a thickness of 2 mm.
- Shape the chips with a wheel or cookie cutters.
- Brush with egg and milk.
- Bake in a oven at 210 degrees for about 10-12 minutes.
- Cool down and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
