Crazy chicory, also known as wild chicory, is a dish from Ciociarian cuisine. Wild chicory is gathered in various parts of Italy, so making this simple low-calorie dish is not difficult.

Ingredients
- 1 Kg. chicory wild
- 1 nr. chili pepper
- 2 cloves garlic
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- to taste salt
Instructions
- Wash and carefully clean the chicory.
- Cook it in plenty of lightly salted water for about 45 minutes.
- Drain the cooked chicory and squeeze it out.
- Pour the oil into a saucepan and sauté the garlic cloves, chili pepper, and chicory, adding a pinch of salt.
- Mix and continue cooking for about 15 minutes. Serve.
